Dear Sir
The Commissioner [unclear: apportio] to appraise damages caused by the Rebel Raid has made a report to the committee of Dauphin County, which when acted upon, will [unclear: go] to the Governor.
I presume it was acted on about the 18th [unclear: alt], & is with the Governor now.
Please instruct me of the checks to copy it - I mean just the names & amount awarded - for me so that I can get it the last of this week or [unclear: bring] it next for the publication.
I will pay the check [illeg.] may do it [illeg.] of him for the work. It will be of special interest to the people in this [unclear: section]
I do not want any of the testimony, of course - just the awards, [unclear: giving] the names, number of [unclear: house] & amount.
