Your letter of the 17[unclear: th inst. ] is received - The articles referred to [unclear: therein have] been received and receipted for by me [unclear: as in] good condition, & have made arrangements with Mr. Stanley of this place to transfer them to Harrisonburg by wagon arriving in that place probably sometime tomorrow or next day. The expense of transportation from this place to Harrisonburg will be $2 00
Have not heard from Mr. Scott. Capt. McDonnell of Winchester [unclear: wrote me] today that Mr. Brackett Supt of Schools in the Valley would perhaps send teachers if more had already arrived.
