| Police Items--On last Wednesday, mary Jackson, colored, was arrested by Deputy sergeant Kurtz, for stealing $2.50 in specie from patrick Carter, colored; also charged with stealing silver spoons from Rev. G. B. Taylor. Srah Craig was arrested for stealing table cloths and towels from Wm. H. Peyton. Oliver Dorson arrested upon beating and threatening to kill his wife with a washboard.
