Sir,
Your letter of the 19th was delivered to me this morning by your brother.
I enclose a new contract for leather/4 copies/which please sign in the presence of a witness and return to me.
I forwarded to your address, several days ago the contract for the additional number of Hides, with a proviso with regard to loss by the public enemy. I am at a loss to account for it not having reached you.
Very respectful
Jas. Dinwiddie
