I seat myself to let you know I am Just
getting over a very hard spell of the measles they broke out the 11th they
are
going in now I am out of all danger without a great
[unclear: are ident] I hope this will find in a short time & find you well as
heart could wish I have no news

left the boys the 11th they was all well they were
43 miles below here my far is fine here nice
beds nice plastered room plenty to eat of
various things as far as my far is concern it is good enough I can't tell anything about a furlough they are
furlough
