We [unclear: rived] home Safely met with no accident on the road we [unclear: rived]
in Staunton at Eight O clock. Ella had good warm Supper waiting for us which Magnus and my Self did ample justice to Ella
was glad to See us She said that She did not look for us
before ten O clock I just thought to my Self if I
had of known that Ella didn't Expect us before ten I would not of
hurried my Self a way from you I will come by my Self next time and I won't be in Such a hurry to leave you. I liked the arrangement your Ma made about you coming up a Christmas

very well I could not have arranged it better my Self you will not object to the arrangement
will you. two more long weeks will have to pass before I can see your dear face I feel that I can't
wait
until I See you again Each visit I pay you only increases my desire to be with you always I am cheerful
& happy with you I love you truly and devotedly with all my heart and
Nature. I was over to see your Ma. & Ella last night & passed
the Evening very pleasantly all send love to you
Lula says she wants to see her Aunt Mary. I sent Mr. Curtis
