Summary:
This agreement states that Samuel Parent and William Saulsbury will submit any
disagreements pertaining to their contract to the arbitration of an A. J.
Thompson, after Samuel Kennerly refused to serve as arbitrator. The agreement is
witnessed by Thomas P. Jackson.

We the undersigned parties to a contract between Samuel Parent of the first part and William Saulsbury of the second part hereby agree to refer all matters in dispute between us to [deleted: Dr. Samuel Kennedy] A. J. Thompson, and mutually bind ourselves to abide by the terms of his decision and to make prompt settlement in accordance therewith.
