Your sister, Jane Bethell, brings to this office a letter from you asking help to return to this place, whence you was sold some 10 years ago. Your relatives are well and able to help you much if you could reach here, but like nearly all, have not money to send you to pay your expenses hither. Call upon the officer in charge of the Bureau at Memphis and ask him to procure transportation for you, if your condition renders such application for Transportation proper. Your friends Thomas & Jane Bethell (and others I have not time to mention) are well
