I respectfully refer enclosed papers to you inviting attention to endorsement of Brigadier General O. Brown Assistant Commissioner of January 29, 1868 and requesting that if possible early provision be made to forward Betsey Brown and her three (3) children to Winchester. These papers to be returned.
