Dear Sir:

I have the honor to enclose herewith account of Kitty Cox (colored) for labor of her son George in your Brick Yard at Staunton Virginia - Time equivalent to two (2) months and three weeks - at $10 ⁰⁰ per month.

Please examine the account & if correct - remit said amount $27 ⁵⁰ to this office this Evening if possible.
