Dear Sir:

I have the honor to enclose herewith account of Kitty Cox (colored) for labor of her son George in your Brick Yard at Staunton Virginia - Time equivalent to two (2) months and three weeks - at $10 00 per month.

Please examine the account & if correct - remit said amount $27 50 to this office this Evening if possible.
