I have the honor to report my arrival at this place and assumption of the duties required by your order assigning to me the [unclear: superintendency] of the Sixth District Virginia Head Quarters at Staunton Virginia
The regular reports will be made in accordance with the orders already named, and as mail communication by railroad is now established I [unclear: desire] the [unclear: ---ftion] of all orders relating to the Bureau as soon as they may be furnished. The blank [unclear: contracts] and agreements are especially needed for present use.
