I have the honor to request that you forward to me for use of Freedmen's Schools in Staunton the following Books one hundred copies of the Green Backs fifty copies each of first Readers & Spellers twenty five mental Arithmetic, some Alphabet cards (large size) fifty slates & twenty five outline maps together with anything else you may think we need.
