Charleston city

My Dear

i take this present time to inform you that I am getting along very Well all but I have a very bad Cold ever Since I have been in Charleston But i hope When these few lines Reach you they May find you Well and [unclear: towing] Well for i have Not got time to Write Much this time for every thing is upside down that i Can't get time to Write

But i have got to see the boys and they all look very Well But they are very dirty i have Not got to see Jacop yet but i think he Will be in town tomorrow and then i Will fix it With him

the Regiment has Camp outside of town two Miles But i think that they Will stay out there awhile and If they Do Why i Will get to see all the boys and they all send [unclear: thear] this best love to you and all [unclear: tha] friends but I hope you Will excuse Me for Not to you sooner but the Reason that Why I had Not the time and today i have Not the time But I Could Not let the Mail go out Without Writing a few lines you

My Dear i Must Bring My letter to a Close by biding you good Night No More at present But Still Remain
