My Dear husband

I take my pen in hand to inform to you that I am well at present and I hope that These few lines may find you The same state of health i receive your kind letter the 18 of february i was glad to hear from you once more but i am sorry to hear that you are to be in another battle i hardly have the heart to write any more it takes all my time to [unclear: stutey] and think about it i try to keep myself in [unclear: harte] but it was a hard things but i hope and pray that we will get to see each other again all we can do put our trust in god for he the only one we can look to i am glad to hear you are well have you [unclear: haed] got right well i am [unclear: fard] you will catch cold in your head i haven't been sick one day since you been gone do you think if i was sick i would not write to you and let you know yet having been so long since i wrote maybe you didn't get it i am living at Mr. patterson i come home when you wrote to me you was come home then you didn't come i went back again i am going to stay a month and little better then i am come home then i am going down to John the last of march than i will stay and help him to move if you dont come home i will [unclear: har] out this summer for ever things are so dear i cant stay at home for i must earn mi [unclear: clos] so many people going a way with and [unclear: colerd] [unclear: unel] Bill Burch and purk wason jame handey o seall famel [unclear: gonen] it so many sails [unclear: pel hisson] have a sail this week [unclear: har] mother are going to to west and pet a going with them they can go for me and we welcome for they aren't fit to go to the west i dont know [unclear: woth] i come over home to night to write this letter i have to go back to night i cant right there for the children bother me too much give love to the rest gorge and the boys i am sorry to hear they won't pay you but they will some day i hope aunt Mary and uncle solum sends their love to you my best to yourself they dont hear anything about Bill Bown and uncle Joney aunt sharlot are well it 8 o'clock and must brings my letter to a close write soon
