I take my pen in hand to inform to you that I and well at present and hope that these few lines may find you in the same state of health we landed at Camp on Wednesday morning and is very well satisfy but it is very cold here it snow and rain on the day that we landed I am very well pleased and we are very well [unclear: use] and we got in the next Camp that sam and them other boys is in that left mercersburg

I am in the Company I would for [illeg.] write as soon as you can and let me know how mother is and all the rest of the friends
