My Dear
this evening i set myself Down to inform you that i am Well at present and hope When these few lines Reach you they May find you in the same state of health a My Dear how happy i felt When i Receive your kind letter this Day and found out that you Was Well and all the friends
But i am very sorry to say that i have not heard from the Boys yet but i think that they Will all Be Back soon but i Can't tell how soon they Will Come back
But as soon as they Come back Why i Will Write and let you Know how you are getting but i hope and trust that you Can't get along till i get home for my Dear you Must Not think that i think hard of it Because i Write to you that i Can't get any letter for i Will excuse you for it
For the Mail has Not been Coming Regularly but think god for What i get from you But i am happy to say that i Receive your letters that had the postage stamps in and i Was very Much obliged to you for sending them.
But you Wanted Me to send you a New [illeg.] [unclear: giph] But My Dear i am sorry to say that i have Nothing to send to you this time for a present But again i Write again Why i Will try and have something for you
For every thing is so [unclear: Cars] that i Can't [unclear: geting] at all to send to you But i think i Will try and send you a Box of [unclear: Cheal] as soon as i Can My Dear a how often i set in My tent at Night and study about you and then think of the long time that I have to stay away from you
a sometime you Don't Know how Bad i feel
But you Must excuse this Bad Writing for i am in a hurry to get it Wrote to you in this Mail give My love to all the friends and My Best love to yourself
