I Receive your kind letter this Morning and it found Me Well But I hope When these few lines Reach you they May find Well But i am very sorry that i have Disturb your Mind so Much just on account of Me try to Make Myself Big But as you Wrote in the last letter Why I hope that you Will forgive Me for What i have Done and Now i Will tell you the Reason that i done it Was because i thought that We Would be paid of in a short time and then i Would just give him a hundred dollars in place of it But as it happened the Regiment got [unclear: Carded] [unclear: Wi] We did Not get paid of But i hope you Will Make yourself easy about it for i have Wrote to Jacob about it and i Just took him all about it and i think that it Will Be all Right as soon as i get answer from him for he Knows that he Will Not lost any by it so you Can make yourself easy till I Write again
But i Would be very sorry if it Would Cause you and I to part But if it is your Will Why i Can't help it for your Will is your pleasure
But still i shall Write and tell you all about it as soon as i get a letter from Jacob E. Christy
