Dear Wife

i take this present time to inform you that i am Well at present and i hope When these few lines reach you they may find you in the same state of health i receive your kind letter last night and Was glad to hear from you and all the rest and i Was so glad that you Sent me some postage stamps for i had got my likeness taken and i had none to put on the letter but you must not get [unclear: Ceard] Whean you see it for i had no razor to shave and i have to have my hair Cut off Close all the time but it is not taking [unclear: flean] but i thought i Would send it to you anyhow but i Will get it taking again as soon as i Can raise a dollar i think it Will look better but i hope that you Will get yours taking and send it to me for i think it a long time to see your face and i a how glad i Was to hear that you are getting along so Well and and is so fat Wesley Krunkleton he told me that you Was that big and fat that you had to Come in the house side Ways or you Would fill up the door he said that he never saw anybody get so fat in a short time in his life like you have got but i hope that i Will get home to see you before long but i Can't tell When for i Can't Come till i get paid off but i Will look for your likeness i have not got time to write much but i hope that you Will excuse this sort letter please give my love to aunt marrey harson and to uncle solon and to Dad and to lisey and all the friends and my best love to yourself nothing more at present but still remain

until death i got a letter from bob rite this last mail he say that he Would like if gary and me Would send some money to him but i got the letter and i tore it all up i never write him another letter as long as he lives
