My Dear

I just receive your kind letter last evening With the greatest of pleasure a how happy I Was to hear from you once since i left home for i had not heard from you till Now and i got both letter at once and i am happy to say that your Dear letter found Me well Which I hope When these few lines reach you they May find you in the same state of health and i am happy to say that i have it better then i had before i have got out in the [unclear: Mot] store and there is No Meat goes out of the store Without My orders and i Can sit back till 9 o'clock before i open the Doors for sale but i Can tell you that i Never had anything to go as hard as it Did With Me When i had to leave you in harrisburg and it is just leaving me Now since i got your letter [unclear: fre] i thought that it Could not be that i had to leave you again i Must say that it Was harder for Me to leave than it Was the first time a I set down and think how Can i stay away from you so long and then i Wish to myself that i [unclear: haend] a Went home at all but I am better [unclear: selafid] Now since i have been away for a While but god Knows that If i get home again Why i Will Never go again but i tell you that i Can hardly write today for it so Windy that i Can hardly [unclear: swec] and the stand shakes so Much that I Can't write Much but I hope that you will excuse My bad writing and my mistakes for i Can hardly write today and i just got a letter from john and he send his love to you all and he say that he hasn't had a letter from Marry for three or four Weeks and he say that he is going along very Well all he has to do is to build Winters quarters for the Men he is [unclear: bas] [unclear: corpant] and i Can't tell you anything about the boys for i haven't saw them since I Came back and i Can't get to hear from them at all

please to give my love to Dad and lisey and to all the friends and tell [unclear: Mar] that i am still looking her likeness and give My love to her nothing More at present But still Remain
