My Dear friends
it is With the greatest of pleasure that I take this opportunity to inform you that We are all Well At present and i hope these Few lines may find you all enjoying the same state of health they are fighting all around us But We Have not been fighting any since i Wrote to you before i hope i Will see you all Once more again it is so Warm That We Can't Hardly stand It We have not much to Do now there is a great [unclear: tock] of us Coming Home soon now but i Can say How it Will Be yet but i Hope it is so for i Would like to see you a[illeg.]
Dear Sister i Hope the Lord Will Soon Bring the Day That We shall meet Again all the rest of the Boys is Well and send their love to you all please give my love to Father and to Elizabeth And to all the rest of the Friends David and George is Well And sends their love to you all Give my love to Aunt mary and uncle Solomon and to all the ladies and tell them to take Good Care of them [unclear: sels] for i think i Will Be Home to See them Before long please To Write Soon and let me know How [unclear: tims] is about Home i have not receive no answer from the last letter i Write When you Write again i wish you Would let me know how uncle [unclear: Antney] and His Wife is getting along For i Has not heard from Them since i left Home I often thought of Writing to Them and i Did not know Whether they Was living together or not please to Write Soon and let me know Dear Sister i Would like to have your likeness to show to some of my Comrades some of the Boys has Rachel Mc[unclear: muling] likeness and it is a pretty one well think i must bring my letter to a Close this time nothing more at present but still
