My Dear husband

I take my pen in hand to inform to you I am well and all the rest are well and I hope that this few lines may finds you all the same state of health I receive you and [unclear: Josh] I was glad to receive them but I am sorry to hear that Joe are sick but i hope he [unclear: ante] was I am glad to hear you are coming home I hope and pray that you all will get home again do not disappoint me if you can help it for I will look for you I am still at Mr. patterson yet but I am coming home two weeks from this and I will prepare for you write soon and let me know where you are coming or not give my love to them and tell them to try and come home to see us all again father and Elizberth send their love to you all tell the boys I will write to them all when I get home again I am only going to stay two weeks try to get [unclear: har] [unclear: gine] the holidays you want to know [unclear: woth] [unclear: cand] of [unclear: ashol] I won't I will tell you the price of the [unclear: shol] here and if you can get any cheaper why you may get me a [unclear: dove] [unclear: coller] [unclear: ar] a red and green and white [unclear: cripess] the price of the [unclear: shol] are six dollar and a half and [unclear: sam] [unclear: ples] are 8 dollar I want a double [unclear: shol] tell the boys that John and mary was up the last sunday of october and tell them we got a letter from aunt [unclear: haner] colum and she are living in bedford and they are all well her older daughter are [unclear: ded] and the [unclear: orer] are married John and Mary come up for the big meeting the colored people had their meeting I do like to live at Mr patterson if could be from home all the time I would like to live there all the time both [unclear: wite] and [unclear: collar] are looking for you home more then the rest for you can't do [unclear: nones] now [unclear: dow] and [unclear: crie] to come home for if don't come this time I will be very much disappointed this all I have at present write soon let me know how you all are getting along whether you are coming home please to excuse the bad writing for I am in [unclear: ahar]
