Chambersburg
Dear Sir
I am not well and not able to be out of the house today. I may not get to
Harrisburg until the beginning of next week. We shall send you five, and
probably six if all companies this week and our citizens are earnestly desiring
in common with our gallant volunteers, that they should be put in one regiment.
The promptness of our [unclear: county] certainly merits this

for the wishes of our men. I hope indeed that you will give this
matter attention in time.
Truly thine
AKMcClure
