Summary: Yet another Breckinridge supporter avails himself of the Vindicator's offer to print letters of the friends of Breckinridge and Lane. This writer argues that the great question separating the two wings of the Democratic party is squatter sovereignty. He includes an article entitled "Squatter Sovereignty" that appeared in the Vindicator in 1856 when the present editor was the sole acting editor.
