Summary: George Glass and Mr. Poague, both laborers on the Fair Grounds, got in a fight that resulted in the stabbing of Mr. Glass. Dr. Harris dressed the wound and thinks that it is not necessarily fatal. Poague was arrested and tried before Justice Sterrett, who held him to $200 bail until trial in November. Poague did not have the money and was sent to jail.
