1.

Ceremonies to commence at 9 o'clock A.M., at the Methodist Church, under the auspices of Rev. John C. Clarke.

1st. Music: Solo and Chorus; "O'er Forest, o'er Mountain and Meadow," (from "Moses in Egypt") by the Staunton Musical Association.

2nd. Prayer by Rev. George B. Taylor,

3rd. Music; Solo and Chorus; "Land of the Trumpet and Spear," (from Anna Bolena")--by the Musical Association.

4th. Address by Maj. Frank H. Bowman.

5th. Music; Solo and Chorus; "Rest Soldiers Rest," (Rooke) by the Musical Association.

Benediction.

"Col. Bolivar Christian, Maj. H. M. Bell. Maj. Hanger, Capt. Bumgardner, Capt. Cochran and Capt. Catlett will receive the audience at the Church, and assign the seats appropriately, and in order for the procession--to prevent any confusion."

III.

The procession to the Cemetery will form promptly at the close of the ceremonies at the Church, and march under the music of the "Band of the Institution," and the "Stonewall Band."

At the cemetery: Decoration of the Graves of the Dead.

The procession on its return will be dismissed at the Court House Street, at 1 o'clock.

Capt. Hotchkiss, Capt. Bayley, Maj. A Kinney, Capt. Waters, Capt Arnall, Maj. Newton and Capt. Pierce will receive voluntary contributions at the church doors and the cemetery gates.

The conductors and officers on the railroad trains east & west will receive contributions of flowers along the road on Friday evening and on Saturday morning next.

All places of business will be closed from 9 to 1 o'clock.

Summary: The paper asserts that at least one hundred men wish to build in Staunton this season, but only half that number will be able to do so because of a lack of mechanics.
