Gen. Meade telegraphs he has broken up the depots at Frederick. The surplus stores at Berlin have been sent to Sandy Hook, for the use of the troops at Maryland Heights and Hagerstown.
The general wishes you to let him know, when you arrive at Hagerstown, of the practicability of supplies for your staff from Sandy Hook.
Lieut. Edward A. Duer will be sent you as soon as he can be supplied.
