Henry Halleck in August, 1864, to inform him that draft resisters captured in
Columbia County will be sent on to Fort Mifflin.

Gen. Cadwalader reports that he captured seventy prisoners last night in Columbia County. These are chiefly leaders and others who were organized to resist the draft. They will be sent to Fort Mifflin.
