Dr Wife --

We had a fight with Meade yesterday -- Johnson whipped his right wing not much loss in killed a good many wounded -- only B. F. Whitner very slightly from near us, tell Mr Arnold to send to his family * I am very well -- Our Cavalry fell on the enemy's rear burnt 40 ammunition wagons, brought off 20 & 150 extra mules & 50 prisoners All in good spirits
