Dear Sir--

At your Instance I have procured all the testimony you will want you thought we had enough before, but when you have a Big Bull to hang you cannot have your rope to strong the names appended below are just such as you Will Want I therefore Desire that you will have subponas issued forthwith & served to take the Depositions In Waynesboro at the house of Wm. W. Gibs as the state of my health will not Justify me going to Staunton If It Can be avoided-- & notify me [unclear: some] Days previous to the time-- & Please Call at my humble Domicel the night preceeding & form a new acquaintance with Old M rs Murphy our Old friend & [unclear: pitcher] &c.

All is well except myself & hoping your Family enjoys health to whom you will tender my respects & except for yourself what is left &ce.
