I perceive in the "[unclear: Virginia] Messenger" that you are the Agent at Staunton for the "Lynchburg Hose & Fire Insurance Company, Having recently purchaced a few valuable negroes whose lives I wished to have insured. You will please inform me at your earliest convenience, as to the Reputations, Rates &c of the Company & much oblige
