Dear Sir

I have been Some what surprised at you when I last Saw you in Staunton about the note I indosst for you which there was Suit brought on when you was hear you assured me that I wood not be trobled a baut it now thare is an Execution in the case & which I will have to Suffer now if you had not miss led me I wood have had the case put off untill I could have had a chanc to met it but now my property has to go to pay it I want to no from you what I am to depend on as I had confadanc in you when I indorst your note & as you told me all along that I wood not have no troble about it dont fail to let me hear from you a baut this matter
