Hoffman, April 20, 1867
Summary:
A statement by Hoffman to employ the nephew of a Jordan Grandison.
I have this day hired of Jordan Grandson his nephew "Dick" for whose services from this time until the 25th of December next, I hereby obligate myself &c to pay to the said Jordan Grandson the sum of Four dollars per month and furnish Dick good comfortable board & lodging.
As witness my hand at Staunton this 20th day of April 1867.
