In compliance with my promise, I send you the following list of persons who are represented to be objects of charity.
Silas Parmer, Crippled aged 40y and his two sisters (Fishersville)
Mrs Thos Bragg & six children, the oldest an idiotic daughter with an infant child, though all are idle & trifeling. address - Fishersville
Mrs Douglass & three children in very destitute circumstances, Fishersville
Mrs. Peter Wheitzel & four children between 3 & 10 years - Fishersville
Mrs. Wm Davis aged 80 years, Fishersville
Mrs. John Bows & 4 children between 2 & 12 years, the oldest having one leg (Fishersville)
Mrs. Charles East with two orphan grandchildren 4 & 6 years, Fishersville
Mrs. Harvey Smith & 6 children from 2 to 10 years, very needy, Sherando
Mr. Wm Brown 86 years old with a crippled daughter 50 years old, Waynesboro
All the ladies except the 1st & last are widows and said to be in very needy circumstances and depending mainly on their neighbors for support.
