Jackson informs Watkins that Willis Stewart received a marriage license to marry another woman, and that Watkins must sue Willis for support when her child is born.

Willis Stewart came to Staunton and claimed a License to marry another woman. I objected but as you neglected to attend he procured it and now your only recourse is to await the birth of your child and apply to nearest magistrate for a warrant and order for him (Willis) to support the child if you can establish his liability.
