Dear Tilly

I have had a letter from home for some days now and am not certain that it has not been [deleted: over a month] answered. Will drop you a line before going to bed this morning to let you know I am well and that there is nothing new or important going on here which must be my excuse for not writing a longer letter. I received Lizzies of the and Johns of the 16th today and will answer them soon. From Lizzies I learn that Fanny Darragh is in Pittsburgh. I suppose
