I declare on oath that I have carefully examined Capt John Doebler of Co A. Col. Elder 126 Pa. Vol., now at this place and under treatment by me and find him incapable of performing the duties of a Soldier for sixty days, by reason of a fracture of the radius and [unclear: ulna ] by a Minnie Ball. This wound was received while leading his command at the battle of Fredericksburg. It is doing well but the bones are not as yet united.
