Approved and respectfully forwarded. the reasons set forth for the resignation are known to be correct and true. Since Capt. Reed is not at all likely to return and the 1st lieutenant has been dismissed, the company will henceforth be under the sole care of the 2nd Lt. [illeg.] the resignation be accepted.
