Sir

I have the honor to report as directed concerning Thomas G. Pilkington of Co. A., 126th Pa. vols;--said Pilkington died in this hospital Jan. 15 [illeg.] of Erysipelatous inflamation [deleted: supervening] on a Gun-shot wound of the right thigh, immediately above the knee joint. Wound received at the battle of Fredericksburgh Dec. 13th, 1863.
