Franklin County: A. H. Senseny, Medical Certification for William W. Walker, January 14, 1863

A. H. Senseny certifies that William W. Walker's fever rendered him unfit for duty. Another doctor, James Hamwith, concurs in Senseny's opinion.


January 14th, 1863

Chambersburg

Captain W. W. Walker of Comp. E, 126 Regt. P.A. having applied for a certificate on which to ground an application for leave of absence I do hereby certify that I have examined this officer and find that he is still suffering from the effects of a low form of fever. And that in consequence thereof, he is, in my opinion, unfit for duty. I further declare my belief that he will not be able to resume his duties in a less period than six weeks.
