Dear Children

it is a long time since I have heard from you We want to hear from you all very much your father's health is very poor and mine is not as good as usual my eyesight failing very fast I do not know as you can read it well we are having the measels in this town a great many have them none have died With them here [unclear: georges] Children has Been quite sick But are getting along there has Been a great many old people Died the past year this has Been a very fruitful year grain is abundant and every thing But apples we had a plenty more than all the rest of the neighbors We have milked eighteen Cows this Summer Butter has not Been as high as it was some years every thing is Cheap here [unclear: Senna] and family are well your Aunt alma has gone to live with Edgar at [unclear: Ursadella] fork all the friends are well here Bird and Almina are married Mr. Russel has Been sick this fall Came over on a visit and Was sick a While Oliver's health is poor - he is teaching school Below here this Winter

Mrs Comfort's health is very good She Lives by herself in a house Below Mrs Macune's Mrs Macune's health is poor this Winter We are having very Cold Weather here We heard from [unclear: Suraense] a few days ago your Aunt Shirley is almost Blind she Cannot see But very Little [unclear: Jus] Pleasant's wife keeps house for them your Aunt Malinda's and family are well as usual and Dwight Shaw Been to see them all this Winter now he write as soon as you Can how I would like to Step in and see you all I often think of you all and and often Dream of you But awake to to Disappointment kiss all the Children for grandma We Send Love to you all do Write soon as you
