The renting of the building, reported by you of R. G. Rickle, for $25 per month is approved. You will draw up leases in triplicate similar to the form enclosed (which you will return) and have them signed by the lesser and witnessed. They will then be transmitted to this office for signature, and the approval of the Assistant Commissioner.
You will please report whether the room rented of George D. Harris at $8 is necessary, or whether this building will not be sufficient for all the colored schools. If not needed, discontinue the Lease.
Very Respectfully,
Your Obedient
Servant
