I have the honor to transmit enclosed herewith copies of letters referring to appeal of James Woods, Elizabeth Furnace, Augusta County Virginia. Woods has again called at the office and prays the papers be referred to proper officer in Rockbridge County who can obtain the asked for papers from Mr. James Dorman.
