I reply to your interrogatories of August 22d 1865, I have no report to make under the headings indicated and can make no estimate of future requirements for the lack of Assistant Superintendents to supply the necessary data. At the earliest possible period I will obtain the information desired, and make a statement of probable and actual wants.
