I have the honor to request that you furnish Transportation for Maria Bears (colored) and five (5) children from Staunton to Richmond, Virginia to be sent to Howard Grove Hospital. She is sick and entirely dependent upon the Bureau for Support and without a home.
Please send me Transportation immediately and Oblige
