I have the honor to request that you furnish Transportation for Maria Bears (colored) and five (5) children from Staunton to Richmond, Va. to be sent to Howard Grove Hospital. She is sick and entirely dependant upon the Bureau for Support and without a home.
Please send me Transportation immediately and Oblige
