i take my pen in hand to inform you that i [unclear: amd] i hope that these few lines may find you in the same state of health i am very sorry to think that you Will not write and let me know how you are getting along i have been longing for a letter for about 6 Weeks and have never got answer yet i have got 35 dollars to send to you but i Wouldn't send it till you Would right i Wish you Would write as soon as you can i am in the hospital i Was in the battle Was hot in the head But i am Able to go about again [unclear: tomes] and Will burges Was the [unclear: thee]
