i take this opportunity to inform you that i am Well at present and hope that these few lines may find you in the same state of health i think it a long time to get to see you again but i hope that i Will get to see you before long again i heard that you sold your sheeps i am sorry to it for i hope that Will get some again i get home again but When i Come but i am happy to say i have got along very Well so far my head is getting better but it Won't get Well but i Won't stay out much longer for the Weather is very Cold here now and We are in the hottest part of the south and it has been as Cold here as it Was at home We are on an island and the Water does fun all around us that is the [unclear: reaces] that it is so Cold here but i must bring my letter to a Close i have not got time to write you a large letter this but please to write soon give my love to all the friends
