Dear sir
I will inform you that I am well and getting along very well now I am glad to acknoledge [added: the] reception of your letter with the draft it has releived my very much I am very thankfull to you for it,
I have nothing of intrest to write to you at this time & hove ritten a letter home but hove not received an answer yet I hope we will all get home this winter I will show my letter to a close I hope to hear from you often write soon and direct as before
