i take my pen in hand to Let you now that i am Well At present and i hope thes fu Lins may find you injoying the Same state of health all the rest of the boys is Well at present and Sends thear love to you all and all So my love to your self and to father and to Elizebeth and to all the rest of the frends i hard that the watson family Was kild by the rebels and thay had took [unclear: Suan] [unclear: an] and bash Johnson and Sarah Stoner and i wish you Would let me now Whiter it is so or not When you Write David Is Well and Gorge is Well at present i hope you Will not be so long a bout Ancern my letters you must not let The Rebels [unclear: Chear] you so that you Cant Write.
