Dear Sister

I take my pen in hand to inform to you that I am at preasant and these few lines I hope will find you the same we are all well and are geting Along verry well yet sofar We haveant receive no money yet and from all account thay wont keep us much longer I think that we will be home before a great while Daveid and George well and hartty and lively we all like soldieren verry well but we dont like the thing of duing without money so long we dont work so hard now any more I thot we have seen our hardest times now the weather is verry changeable here sume tim verry cule And sum days verry hot but it dont get cold enough to freze ice though I would like to be home to eat sum turkey and chicken but I hope that I will get home yet to get something good to eat if we live to get home We will be able to tell you something about old times we can tell you of things that you never drem of for I have seen thing that I never drem of before tell Elizeberth that I rote to her and I have been looking for and answer and haveant gut no answer yet give my best respect to all the inquireing friends I cant rite much this time but still remember
